Hi, I’m Alisha Mead, LMT
First statement I want to make loud and clear is my biggest intention is to create a safe and healing space for every person. Your identity, body type or medical background should never be something that prevents you from getting equal, and safe care from a provider.
I have been practicing massage for over a decade. I graduated from BodyMechanics School of Myotherapy in 2008 and fell in love with easing the daily aches and pains that I have yet to meet a person not dealing with. I have been amazed at the results massage can yield with mild to severe pain, not to mention the mental relief taking a moment to heal can bring. Every person is a unique case of their daily demands, tension, repetitive motion and postural misalignment. I design each massage to cater to their personal needs to bring the greatest relief I can.
Why Honeywine Self-Care?
All Honeywine’s massage oils and lotions are homemade with my Nana. We use the best ingredients brining potent nourishment and moisture that your skin will absorb. Pure organic ingredients with no fillers or chemicals! We also have jars for sale through the office. Scented or unscented. The experience should be healing in its entirety.
Not only is Mead my last name but the symbolism of honey being the sweet nectar of good effort put toward a common goal suits the work. My massage treatment is teamwork with each person to bring a result that reminds us life has natural treats attached to focused dedication. I also use Organic honey when making all my skin care products to bring antioxidants to the skin, fighting free radicals and delivering suppleness with a radiant glow!
Location, Location, Location!
I am located right off the highway on your way to Ocean Shores in Hoquiam, Washington. I am proud to have space in a beautiful historic building along with quality people offering quality services and products. You enter the building to find yourself between a coffee stand and wine bar. Down the hallway is a yoga studio and my office off in a quiet corner. Soon there will be airbnb options upstairs. I am so happy to get to spend time in such a beautiful space known as the VASA HALL.
